Hi, I’m Misty Rothrock. I’m a chef, and cooking for people is my passion!
Since I was a little girl, food has been a source of comfort. From a very young age my family taught me that cooking for someone was an act of service. As a young wife and mom, I fell in love with the art of cooking and feeding not only the stomachs of my loved ones, but their souls as well.
I love creating meals that don’t simply fill your stomach, but also fuel your body as a whole.
I view cooking as an art and a ministry, and I use it express my heart.

It was always fun for me to learn new tips and tricks and implement them into my meals.
My husband and I moved to Arizona in 2015 with our four boys and at that time I decided to further my cooking knowledge and attend Culinary School. At The Arizona Culinary Institute, I had the opportunity to learn from some exceptional chefs and my passion for cooking and for food increased immensely. After I graduated from Culinary School, I went on to work at Café Bink and Binkley’s and again learned under some of the best chefs in Arizona.
I am fortunate to still get to work with them and learn from them occasionally. I went on to start my own company as a caterer and private chef and I love creating the perfect meal for my clients and their needs.

I provide thoughtfully planned menus, grocery sourcing, meal preparation, and kitchen management throughout the retreat. Depending on your needs, I can also include snacks, beverages, and full kitchen cleanup so you can stay focused on your guests.
I offer a daily rate based on the number of meals provided and the complexity of the menu, with food cost billed separately. This allows flexibility while keeping everything clear and customized to your retreat.
Yes. I specialize in creating menus that accommodate a variety of dietary needs including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and more—without sacrificing flavor or experience.
My presence is calm, supportive, and intuitive to your retreat flow. I handle the details behind the scenes so your guests feel consistently nourished and you can stay fully present in your role as host.
I mostly cater in Arizona and Washington State but I will travel for an additional fee.
